On June 1st 2019, Koh Yu Jeong was arrested for the murder of her ex-husband, last name Kang. It is thought by investigators that she drugged him and stabbed him at the vacation rental where they were staying in Jeju-do on May 25th, then dismembered his body. Kang went to see his son after being denied visitation by Koh for two years after their divorce in 2017. Kang’s body has not been found to this day.
